Meet Jay and Linda

In late 2022, Beachside Hilton Head Island was purchased by Jay and Linda Sudowski. With a love for Hilton Head and personal connection to Sea Pines, Jay and Linda are looking forward to carrying on the legacy that Stephanie and Todd have built. Jay and Linda are excited to help your family form magical memories on Hilton Head Island. Jay and Linda live in Sea Pines with their four kiddos and two dogs.

Beachside Beginnings

Beachside Hilton Head Island opened in May 2008 with Stephanie Hoke at the helm. She envisioned a boutique style vacation rental company specializing in Sea Pines properties with a focus on providing guests with more than a place to rest their head... she desired to offer them unparallel customer service and insights to all the attractions which make Hilton Head Island a world-class destination

Our History

Stephanie was joined by her husband, Todd, in June 2018 after a successful banking career. Todd & Stephanie enjoy the relationship formed with guests….It brings them great pleasure when memorable vacations are created and guests return year after year to their “home away from home”.

Linda Sudowski

Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, Hilton Head was always the vacation destination for Linda's family. Linda enjoyed many summer vacations, holidays spent with family, escapes from University of Georgia to study for exams on the beach, and of course spring break get aways on the island.

In 2012 Linda ventured out to Denver, Colorado in search of fresh mountain air and a masters degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. When Linda met Jay in 2014 she knew her life would never be the same. The two built an incredible life in Denver that included 2 kiddos through adoption, 2 biologically, and the start of Linda's decorate yourself cupcake studio, My Make Studio that she has owned and operated since 2015.

When COVID hit in 2020 Linda knew her family would have to embrace change. With nearly 20 family members in Hilton Head Island and the vacation memories her family already held near, Linda and Jay knew it was the right move for their family.

Nestled right in the heart of Sea Pines is where you'll currently find Linda walking the beach paths with her son's, playing on the Harbour Town playground with her daughter's, enjoying a glass of wine at the Quarterdeck with Jay, or listening to live music at South Beach with her extended family. Linda and Jay are excited to share their hard work ethic, family values, and love for their island with you on your next adventure.

Jay Sudowski

Born in Waterford, Connecticut, Jay began visiting Hilton Head Island in 2014 and has lived here with Linda and his family since July 2020.

Jay has been an entrepreneur nearly his entire life. In the late 1990s, he founded a technology company that he grew until he sold it in the fall of 2022. Jay first visited Hilton Head Island after he began dating Linda in 2014, and although many things were not clear to him at the time, one thing was - he would one day live on Hilton Head Island ... with Linda!! Jay and Linda got married in August of 2015 and happily lived in Denver with their growing family, until COVID hit. At the time, Jay and Linda were living in a fabulous home in Denver, across the street from a very large park. Sadly, when COVID hit, everything in Denver shutdown, including the park across the street. With nothing to do and no where to be, Jay and Linda decided to spend a few weeks in Hilton Head in May of 2020, and they ended up purchasing a wonderful home in Sea Pines.

Jay is a very handy guy. In fact, his old company was called Handy Networks. Jay looks forward to clearing his calendar of Zoom and Teams meetings and putting his tool belt on to keep all of the Beachside homes in tip-top shape.
